Cycled to Cumbernauld to pick up a parcel tonight, left the flat 17.30, back at 23.00. What a ride!
- saw the Royal Infirmary, and Glasgow Cathedral (impressive stuff!)
- 15 minutes of cycling on the highway (what else do you do when you’re nearly there, and the only way ahead is the highway?)
- got my parcel: Tomtom nav software (from Apeldoorn, Holland!) for the phone
- cycled back along the Forth-Clyde Canal, with great views all over
- watched Germany beat Portugal while eating a veggie curry, and drinking my now favourite “Diet Irn Bru”
- Got a hug from a drunk/drugged guy who wanted to get home and asked me for the way. I gave him my city map. Me: “Where do you want to go?” Him: “home hopefully”, but where do you live? “home hopefully”.
What a night. Scotland = great.
